do i need to live in Virginia?

Yes. Currently, our membership is only open to patients or families who live in Virginia and have a valid Virginia driver's license. We like to keep our community local to foster more engagement and to share local resources. 

is this membership for individuals or families?

One membership includes your entire household (ages 2+). We’ve tried the per-person model in the past—and honestly, we didn’t love it. Wellness is a family affair, and your membership should reflect that.
Appointments, however, are still billed per person, as each individual deserves focused, personalized care.

do i have to be super "crunchy" or already healthy to join?

Not at all. Root & Ritual is designed for real people in real life—whether you’re just beginning to explore natural health or you already make your own sourdough bread. We offer a layered approach rooted in timeless principles, not perfection. You’ll find support for wherever you’re starting from, with room to grow at your own pace. Progress over pressure, always.

what if i miss a live call or work during that time?

No problem—life is full, and we get it. Members can submit their questions ahead of time, and we’ll answer them during the live Q&A. The full recording will be added to the library, so you can catch up (and get the support you need) on your own time. Showing up live is welcome—but never required.

what's the time commitment like?

what's the deal with seasonal guides?

The guides are designed to help you focus on what matters most right now, without getting overwhelmed by everything at once. Yes! The membership is open year-round. You'll gain access to the current seasonal guide right away, and you can start using the tools and attending calls as soon as you join.

can i cancel anytime?

Yes. We don’t do long-term contracts. You can cancel at any time with 30 days’ notice. Your membership will continue through the end of your current billing cycle (monthly or annual, depending on your plan).
